Hight Genealogy Research Log
This blog is a research log to my maternal genealogical research.
The names include Hight, Jackson, Wood, Patterson, Harrison, Ward, Cooper, Finch, Menees, Wary, Russell, Taylor, Strode, Vann, Camper, Campbell, Dickinson, Fowler
The states are Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee, Virginia, Kentucky, Wisconsin. So far I have found no real evidence of links to Great Britain or Europe. There are only hints that the Pattersons and Campbells came from Scotland; the Menees from Ireland, and perhaps the Campers (Kempers) from Germany.
So rather than rehash all the genealogy, this blog will begin with recording research sources searched, where and when, giving positive and negative results.
