Ordered that John Gallaher, James B. Wallace & William Faris commissioners appointed to receive and audit the claims against the estate of James Chilcoat decease be allowed until the second Monday in December next to make their report.

page 28 Orphans Court Lawrence County December Term 1825
William Chilcoat Administrator of the Estate of James Chilcoat deceased having applied to have final settlement made of his said Administration. Ordered that the same will be settle on the second Monday in February next at an Orphans Court then to be held according to the accounts filed in this office and that he give forty days notice therof by advertisement set up at three of the most public places in said county.
Thomas Chilcoat is on the 1850 Agricultural Census for Lawrence County, AL for 25 improved acres and 15 unimproved acres in the 8th district.

Ordered that ____ Chilcoat be allowed until the second Monday in March next to make a final settlement on his administration of the estate of James Chilcoat decease and that day be set for making said settlement he having filed his administration amounts and notice thereof be given by the said administrator by advertisement to be set up at three of the most public places in the county for at least forty days.
