221 – Fowler, Thomas - Thomas Fowler and son, Fowler, vs. John Baxter Filed 21 Oct 1844. Baxter is in debt for $430.00 got jud. Baxter has a barrel of Peach Brandy and sundry gal. of honey.  He conceals and leaves for credit. Fowler wants to attach for $50.00. Joseph Harris $15.00. George Cooper wants attachment of Baxter’s Brandy.

221 – Fowler, William - William Fowler vs. Absolum Henry Filed 13 Oct 1846.  Note $55.68 dated 9 Apr 1845. Note was to be paid to Robert Clark. Robert Clark assigned to A. A. Curtis 11 Oct 1845. They are to pay William Fowler.

290-291 – Fowler, Jeremiah – Levi Flyn vs William Canter. Filed 21 Sep 1847. Levi Flynn purchased land from heirs of Joseph Fowler dec on Station Camp.  M. P. Canter had married a Fowler heir and had sold his wife’s part to Jeremiah Fowler.  He got all the purchase price.  His wife did not join in the conveyance.  She died leaving one son, William Canter, an inft.  After William reached 21, Levi bought William's part for $60.00.  Levi also had purchased some for Jeremiah.  Each part agreed to dismiss and pay their own cost. 9 Apr 1849


317 – Fowler Isaac S. - Wm. Canter vs. Absolum Riochardson. Filed 9 Apr 1850. William got an appeal from jud. James Scrivner, a J. P., was in favor of Richardson. Canter for $6.00. William Canter and Isaac S. Fowler bond unto Absolum Richardson $75.00 for items sold in 1848. [Items William Canter sold to Absolumn Richardson listed]

This Indenture made this fourteenth day of June in year of our Lord one thousand eight Hundred and twenty four Between Joseph Fowler and Betsy his wife of the County of Estill and State of Kentucky of the on part and John Wells of the County and State aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the Sd Joseph Fowler and Betsy his wife for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and ninety nine current money of Kentucky to them in hand paid the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge hath granted Bargained and Sold and do by these presents grant bargain and sell Alies And Enseff unto the said John Wells a certain tract or parcel of Land situate lying and being in the County and state aforesaid on the south fork of Station Camp Creek, being a part of a large tract belonging to Sd Fowler and is bound as follows to wit Beginning at a chesnut oak tree corner To France McKenney thence with his line N79 E 80 poles to a beach tree on a rock thence S 52 E 145 poles cross the creek to a stake corners to the old survey thence N 9 W 240 po to a stake in said line thence S 173 W 178 po crossing the creek to a stake in the old line & thence with the same S 8 E 110 pol to the beginning containing one hundred & sixty five acres more or less Together with all its singular benefits hereditements & appertenances to the Sd John Wells his heirs excr adms and assignes forever ____ said Joseph Fowler & Betsey his wife ____  ___  themselves their heirs excr admrs & assigns to forever warrant & defend a good ___ indefrisible right & title in fee Simple of the aforesaid land and premises to the Sd John Wells his heirs exr admr & assigns from all & every person assig  whatsoever claimig ___ to cllim  In witness whereof the sai Joseph Fowler & Betsy his wife hat here unto set their hands & seals the day and year above written

This Indenture made this 3rd day of Jany in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fourteen between Joseph Fowler of the County of Estill and State of Kentucky of ___ one part and James Hilo? of the County and State aforesaid of the other other part ____ that the said Joseph Fowler for and in consideration of the same of [no amount]    current money of the state aforesaid to him in hand paid the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge had granted bargained and sold and do by these presents grant bargain & sell alean im___ and confirm unto the said James Hill a certain tract or parcel of Land situated  lying and being in the County and State aforesaid on main Station Camp Creek (the Land whereon the said Hill now lives containing eighty seven acres (more or less) and is bound as follows towit. This Indenture made this fourteenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten between Joseph Fowler and Betsey his wife of the county of Estill and state of Kentucky of the one part and Frances McKinney of the count and state aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the said Joseph Fowler and Betsey his wife for and in consideration of the sum of ninety dollars current money of Kentucky to them in hand paid the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge had granted bargained and sold and do by these presents grant bargain and sell ____ and ___ the said Francis McKinney a certain tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the county and State aforesaid on the south fork of station camp Creek being part of a Large tract belonging to said Fowler and is bounded as follows (to wit) Beginning at a chesnut oak tree thence N79˚ E 80 po to a beach and a rock thence S52˚ E 115 po crossing the creek crossing the creek to a small ash saplin and thence N    110 po to a stake then S79˚ W 80 po to the beginning containing ninety acres (more or less) Father with all its singular benefits hereditiments and appertainances to the said Francis McKinney his exr  adms and assigns forever and the said Joseph Fowler and Betsey his wife doth farther agree for themselves their heirs exrs adms and assigns to forever warrant and defend a good sufficient indefensible right and title in fee simple of the aforesaid land on premises to the said Francis McKinney his heirs ex__ admrs and assigns from all and every person or persons whatever claming or to claim  In witness whereof the sd Joseph Fowler and Betsey his wife hath hereunto set there hands and seals the day and year above written

Hendricks to Fowler. Deed
This Indenture made this 8th day of February in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & ten between James Hendricks & Nancy his wife of the county of Madison and State of Kentucky of the one part & Joseph Fowler of the county & State aforesaid of the other part  Witnesseth that said James Hendricks and Nancy his wife for and in consideration of the sum of current money to them in had paid by the said Joseph Fowler the receipt whereof the said James Hendricks and Nancy his wife Doth Hereby Acknowledge have granted Bargained and Seald, and doth by these presents do grant bargain and sell and confirm (?) unto the said Joseph Fowler and his heirs forever a certain tract or parcel of land Containing six Hundred acres being a part of an Eight Hundred acre survey baring date 22th Day of September 1796 & a part of entry of 2000 acres entered in the name of John Woods lying and being in the county of Estill on the main fork of Station Camp Creek and bound as followeth to wit beginning at state in the original line being the corner of the division between James Hendrick and James Berry of the original survey of eight hundred acres, thence down Station Camp Creek Meandering the lines of the original Survey of Eight Hundred acres ___ to Include Six Hundred acres and singulary its appertuncenes unto the said Joseph Fowler and his heirs forever to his & their proper use and behoof and the said James Hendricks and Nancy his wife for themselves their heirs the aforesaid tract or parcel of land with its appertunances unto the said Joseph Fowler and his heirs forever against the claims or claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever well for over warrant and Defend in Witness where of the Sd James Hendricks & his wife hat hereunto set their hand and affixed their seals this day and date first above written.
